National Honor Society

2024 - 2025 Christ the King High School National Honor Society

The National Honor Society centers around the four pillars of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.  It recognizes students who have demonstrated those values and seeks to mold the next generation of leaders into compassionate and loving young people.

The Pope Saint John XXIII Chapter of the NHS at Christ the King High School includes over 50 juniors and seniors who maintain exceptional grades, volunteer at school events, organize several charity drives, and complete at least 90 hours of Christian Service.  This year, students in the NHS gave tours at our Open Houses, organized a Christmas Toy Drive, spent many afternoons tutoring younger students, in addition to other volunteering in their communities.  The NHS students are also planning a Movie Night in April and will close the year with the annual NHS Spring Carnival for CTK students.

In April, sophomores and juniors who fit the criteria for membership are invited to apply to become members of the NHS for the following school year.  New members of the NHS are inducted into the organization at a ceremony in September.

Faculty Moderators for the group are Sean Gallagher ([email protected]) and Abigail Piotrowski ([email protected]).
