Student Life
Student Life at Christ the King High School is vibrant, inclusive, and full of opportunities for personal growth, creativity, and community connection. Beyond academics, CK offers a dynamic environment where students can explore their passions, develop leadership skills, and enjoy a well-rounded high school experience.
With a wide range of clubs, activities, and events—ranging from performing arts and student government to robotics, cultural organizations, and service initiatives—every student has the chance to get involved and make lasting memories.
Our Guidance Department plays a vital role in supporting students throughout their four years. Dedicated counselors work closely with students to provide academic advising, college and career planning, and social-emotional support, helping each student reach their full potential both in and out of the classroom.
Campus Ministry is at the heart of our school community, offering students meaningful opportunities to grow in faith, reflect on their spiritual journey, and serve others. Through daily prayer, liturgical celebrations, retreats, and community outreach, students are encouraged to build a deeper relationship with God and live out the values of compassion, service, and leadership.
Students enjoy a welcoming cafeteria that offers a variety of nutritious and freshly prepared meals and snacks daily, providing a comfortable space to relax, socialize, and recharge during the school day.
Transportation to and from Christ the King is accessible, with options available for students from across Queens, Brooklyn, and other boroughs. We aim to make the daily commute as smooth and safe as possible for all families.
To ensure a respectful, responsible, and safe learning environment, all students are expected to follow the policies outlined in the Student Handbook, which serves as a guide to behavior, expectations, and student responsibilities.
At Christ the King, student life is about more than just extracurriculars—it’s about fostering a strong sense of community, personal responsibility, and school spirit in every aspect of daily life.
