This is the last project for the year... so make it your best!
This unit we are learning about organic functional groups and hydrocarbons. In this project you will pick your own organic compound and create a poster OR slideshow for it. Attached in this assignment is the directions and grading process so make sure you check it to see what is required.
To make sure everyone has a DIFFERENT ORGANIC COMPOUND, please fill out the class chart with your name and the organic compound IUPAC name you will be doing the project on.
This counts as a 30 point quiz grade!!! :) and is due on Friday June 2nd, 2023 at the start of class.

Hi all! Our unit 7 test is coming on on 3/10. The month of March is Women's History Month. I am giving you the opportunity to get 5 extra points on your unit 7 exam while learning about the amazing women who left a mark in the STEM community!
Directions:
Using the website Canva and/or making a poster on paper, choose a historical woman figure in STEM (any kind of science, technology, engineering and mathematics). In the poster you must include a photograph of this induvial, their full name, birthday date, date of passing (if they passed away, if they are alive still put still alive), 3 important facts about them (what did they do, what are they known for, etc) and lastly your name and citations.
I hope that you choose to do this to learn about the historical women in STEM!!!
